PLATELET RICH PLASMA
Platelet Rich Plasma
Platelet Rich Plasma is composed of a liquid enriched with clot cells. Thrombocytes are found in a certain number in the blood fluid. And their most significant characteristics are the growth factors they carry. In any injury that occurs in the human body, thrombocyte cells support blood coagulation in the injured area first, allowing the injured tissue to heal and grow and close. This miraculous property of thrombocyte is applied to the problem area in a concentrated manner in PRP treatment, thus benefiting from its skin regenerative properties.
How is PRP applied?
PRP is a medical application and should only be applied by a doctor. It is a simple procedure for a specialist doctor. First, 10-20 cc of blood is taken from the patient. This blood is placed in special tubes. In a special centrifuge device, the blood is separated into layers after rotating at the appropriate speed and time. The plasma obtained as a result of this process is plasma rich in thrombocytes, and this part is applied to the area to be treated with special needles. PRP serum can be applied to the skin after dermo-roller applications, and PRP is easily absorbed through the opened pores. PRP application can also be combined with applications such as filling, botox, laser, and peeling if needed.

How Does PRP Affect?
Under normal conditions, when there is an injury to the skin, clot cells, in other words, thrombocytes, come to the area primarily for tissue repair. Growth factors secreted from clot cells in this area attract stem cells to the area and initiate tissue repair. With PRP, densified clot cells are obtained in amounts that cannot be provided by normal blood flow. In this way, with PRP, an average of 2-4 times more clot cells are introduced into the tissue, and due to this process, plasma rich in clot cells and growth factors triggers skin repair and enables the skin to be renewed.
The PRP method is used as an accelerator of healing in skin renewal, spot treatment, reducing hair loss and strengthening hair follicles, alleviating or removing stretch marks on the skin, treatment of acne scars, dental treatments, orthopedic disorders, sports injuries, tendon diseases, chronic wounds that do not heal. PRP treatment is performed in 3-4 sessions with 2-4 week intervals. After 6 months, a single booster dose can be administered. The best results are seen after the 2nd or 3rd application rather than the first session. The positive effects of PRP treatment on the skin continue for 1-1.5 years even after the treatment is completed.
